Our
clients include insurance companies, large corporations, governmental
entities, managing general agencies, and trust funds engaged in bearing
various risks.
For some clients, Johns Eastern handles individual assignments. For
others, we provide a full range of claims services.
We exceed the needs of each market. But one commonality among them
all is their main reason for choosing Johns Eastern: our ability to
do what they ask with speed and accuracy.
Our emphasis in surplus lines claims increased in the early 1970s
when our traditional markets – primarily personal lines –
began to diminish. This was due to the advent of “no-fault”
insurance and telephone adjusting.
Johns Eastern has found surplus lines claims are tailor-made for our
independent adjusters. We recognize that these types of claims, as
well as the risks, are different from personal lines or a standard
commercial claim. They require unique approaches for insurance coverage
and thus a different kind of policy. Because surplus lines claims
tend to be both non-repetitious and unusual, each one requires a great
deal of thought and consideration before the adjuster goes into the
field.
We are pleased to be supporting members of the American Association
of Managing General Agents, the National Association of Professional
Surplus Lines Offices, Ltd. and Associate Members of the Florida Surplus
Lines Association.
Outside the United States, Johns Eastern serves clients in Canada,
and Europe – predominantly Lloyds of London. We are well-known
to the non-marine market at Lloyds and have represented many of its
underwriters and brokers, as well as other London insurers.
We work on a daily basis with our Canadian neighbors, who are insured
in the Canadian market. Johns Eastern maintains close ties with this
market and was honored when becoming the first associate member of
the Canadian Independent Adjusters Conference. |
