About John Powers

Mr. Powers graduated from Lehigh University in 2002 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance. He joined Johns Eastern in early 2010. Since then, he has obtained his Associate in Claims, his Associate in Risk Management, and his Associate in Management designations from the Institutes. He was promoted to Liability Quality Assurance Manager in 2015. As Quality Assurance Manager, Mr. Powers oversees liability subrogation and excess recoveries. He is also responsible for the overall operational production of Medicare Reporting. Mr. Powers has handled Commercial General Liability, Automobile Liability, Automobile Physical Damage, Property, Fidelity, Errors & Omissions and Employment Practices Liability for Self-Insured governmental and commercial entities including counties, churches, public schools and private entities. He is engaged in the litigation management of litigated claims for these entities.
