Claim Management System

Johns Eastern’s state-of-the-art, web-based AIM System was introduced in December 1999. We call it AIM because it helps us to Adjust, Investigate, and Manage each claim. We released AIM 2.0 in fall of 2015.

AIM 2.0AIM 2.0 stores all the dates, descriptions, and facts associated with a claim. But beyond that, it’s a powerful tool that actively assists the adjuster in working that claim.

AIM 2.0 also provides our clients with anytime access to all of their claims information through Johns Eastern’s website. This is a comprehensive view, claim by claim, of all the details, payments, expenses, medical bills, reserves, adjuster notes, supervisor notes, diary notes, and more, in real time.

Data Security

Johns Eastern recognizes the importance of protecting our clients’ data. Encryption, firewalls, IPS/IDS, and other cutting-edge technologies are used to ensure that all personal data is kept safe. Audits are also conducted to ensure that our systems meet industry standards for data security. These audits include SSAE18, SOC, and HIPPA.

Reporting Claims

The preferred method of reporting workers’ compensation claims to Johns Eastern is by means of the On-Line First Report of Injury (iFROI). Accessible via the internet through our website, claims can be reported at each location of your organization or through the risk management department. This allows for rapid claim setup, immediate contacts, and prompt investigations.

The preferred method of reporting property, general liability, and automobile liability losses to Johns Eastern is by filling out the First Notice of Loss on our website, which enables our clients to quickly report claims at any time. We are also able to receive loss reports by fax, phone, and email.

Claims Management Reports

Johns Eastern has a library of over 200 reports that can be run and delivered to our clients periodically to illustrate our claims-handling progress. If the desired report is not in our library, we may be able to create it. Our Information Services department can build a custom report to suit nearly any needs. In addition, the Johns Eastern Ad Hoc reporting system enables our clients to design and save custom reports by creating a query (or data filter) to arrive at the answer they want. These reports can be output to Excel, PDF, and HTML.

Help Desk

Johns Eastern has a fully staffed IT Help Desk located in our Lakewood Ranch, Florida headquarters, which is available to help clients with any technical issues, questions or problems they may have. The desk is staffed from 8:30 am-5:00 pm weekdays, with the ability to escalate tickets after hours and on weekends to an on-call technician.
