Celebrating any anniversary is a huge milestone for a company. Celebrating our 75th, however, is monumentous.
Johns Eastern comes from humble origins, beginning its life as a one-man operation founded by Corydon Johns in 1946. After purchasing Eastern Adjustment Company in 1971, we expanded into the mid-atlantic region and became Johns Eastern Company, Inc.
Johns Eastern is still run by the Johns family today, with Corydon’s son, Kenneth Johns III serving as its chairman.
From the start, our goals have been aligned with improving the lives of our clients through honest and open collaboration. This transparency has allowed us to develop trusting relationships with our business partners and helps us to improve our quality of service, so that we can adapt to the dynamic demands of the industry.
Many things have changed over the years, but one thing that has remained consistent is our dedication to providing our clients with quality service. Johns Eastern’s success could only come thanks to the hard work of our team members and the loyalty of our clients and vendor partners. We are eternally grateful to everyone that has helped us grow and expand into the organization we have become.
Part of our celebration of our diamond anniversary is to look forward to the next 75 years. As we continue to expand, our focus is on maintaining a consistent high quality of service to every one of our clients, current and future. As always, our growth will not sacrifice our attention to detail or our strive to intimately understand our clients’ goals. We will continue to use our experience to create innovative solutions and strategies to address these needs.
